Everyone (children included over the age of 2 years) entering the Joliet Hope Center will have to wear a face mask beginning Friday, May 1st. This is for your safety as well as for ours and we want to stay open for you and keep everyone as safe as possible so please understand this necessity during this time. Thank you for your patronage, cooperation, understanding and mostly, PATIENCE! God Bless!
Many times, we are being accused of not being Christian by enforcing the appropriate masks rule. If our employees get sick and we have to close, that really doesn't help anyone. Help us help our community. Please do not come to the Hope Center if you will not wear a mask. We must enforce the policy.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.
The Joliet Hope Center is not a food bank or a food pantry but a private non-profit 501(c)(3) community assistance ministry allowing people both working and not working to obtain food and household items that have been greatly discounted. It offers a long-term self sufficiency solution to families struggling to fulfill their basic needs.
The Joliet Hope Center accepts applications for membership with a photo I.D. and a $5.00 annual membership fee at:
511 Oak Leaf Ct., Unit A
Joliet, IL 60436
(the warehouse behind the post office - east of Hammes)
We love our members, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Matthew 6:33
